Customers are encouraged to review Tervita's General Terms & Conditions (GTCs). Unless you have a Master Services Agreement or an equivalent contract with Tervita, Tervita's GTCs will apply to the services provided to you.
A Waste Approval Application Form (WAA) is required for submission and approval of any solid waste for Tervita landfills. Once approved, Tervita will supply a Waste Confirmation Number pertaining to the appropriate waste stream(s). The WAA form can be found at the following links:
Tervita has developed a Reference Guide to help customers understand the requirements of AER Directive 058: Oilfield Waste Management Requirements for the Upstream Petroleum Industry. The Guide is specific to manifesting, waste codes, and classification and gives direction on how to complete an AER manifest, waste code options, and whether the waste chosen is a DOW/NON-DOW or if further testing is required. Tervita’s Solid Waste Acceptance Protocol sheets are provincially specific for proper waste characterization and the analytical parameters for each solid waste stream.
