Environmental Construction

We have specialized knowledge and techniques in the construction of effective impermeable structures, containment through barrier construction and the prevention of groundwater migration to help you through the exploration and production stages of your project.

We combine solid experience in civil construction, specialized equipment and project management expertise to our environmental construction practice. This blended capacity enables us to build a wider variety of specialized solutions for civil and environmental facilities and structures including:

  • Bioremediation cell construction
  • Impermeable structures
  • Landfill & soil treatment
  • Pad construction liner installations
  • Mine site reclamation
  • Pond and lagoon construction
  • Mass excavation
  • Site remediation and reclamation

We have specialized knowledge and techniques in the construction of effective, long-term storage ponds or landfills. Our environmental construction techniques ensure the secure containment of waste products. The key is creating an impermeable structure that ensures waste products are not discharged or leached unintentionally.

Groundwater can migrate and carry potential contaminants with it, creating the need for onsite waste storage capacity to efficiently manage the solid, liquid and sludge-based waste streams that result from intensive hydrocarbon production.

Our pond and lagoon construction provides a safe and long-lasting solution for storing liquid and semi-solid wastes. Our people and equipment are focused to provide you with consistent and compliant finished products and we have experience building a wide variety of lined ponds, from 50m2 to over 40,000 m2 in size. With our integrated solution offering, you save money by increasing project efficiency, reducing the required number of contractors on site and saving money on reducing the required mobilization of equipment and personnel.

We have considerable experience completing projects involving work within streams, wetlands and foreshore areas. Execution of reclamation work in these sensitive locations requires additional planning and experience for its successful completion. This includes working closely with the various regulating authorities such as those involved in fisheries, port or river authorities and environmental regulatory agencies.
